CCAAL, Inc. and Garrison School Cultural Center In the NewsTuesday, November 27 2018
The Clay County African American Legacy Inc. cordially invites you to attend the Tourism Brochure Launch of historic African American sites in Liberty on December 8, 2018, from 10:00-12:00 noon, at the Garrison School Cultural Center located at 502 N. Water Street. On this occasion, besides launching the brochure which features a tour guide to the historic sites in the African American Garrison Community, we will also host a Christmas Open House tour of the Garrison art gallery, and introduce our Special Collections African-American Handmade Quilt exhibit. An additional feature at this event will be a Book Signing by local poet and playwright Shelton Ponder. Please be present at this Launch Reception as we send this Brochure out into the community to further community interest in the development and prosperous growth of Downtown Liberty. |
